Michael Madden is a Principal in our Boston office. He originally joined Polaris in 2005 and focuses on growth equity investments and buyout opportunities across all industries.

Experience:
Prior to joining Polaris, Michael was an Associate with Summit Partners. He was responsible for sourcing and executing various growth equity investments across a wide range of industries.  Prior to Summit, Michael worked in the Media & Technology group at JP Morgan.  He worked with companies of all sizes helping them through Initial Public Offerings, Mergers, Acquisitions & Private Equity financings.  Michael also has experience with Athletes’ Performance, a Polaris portfolio company, where he worked in operations and strategy.

Michael has been involved with Polaris’ investments in Ascend Health, Athletes’ Performance, eRewards, The Health Central Network, JibJab Media.

Education:
Michael received an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and an AB in Economics from Harvard where he was a member of the varsity baseball and football teams.
